The Research of Fast Processing and Distribution Remote Sensing Image Based on the Grid Technique

In this paper, a brand new method utilizing the service-oriented software architecture and the rising technology of Grid computing with available software Globus Toolkit 4 is introduced. The traditional centralized remote sensing image processing model under stand-alone computer environment is changed into a model in Grid environment by decomposing the system into different services which enables the users to process the remotely sensed images, perceive quickly and obtain the result image using the service in Grid bases on their given demands.
